two weeks and still progressing. We’ll dredge the channel from up to downstream
by 60 cm up to 150 cm depth,” said Head of Maintaining System of Flood
Controlling Section for South Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Suyadi,
Monday (9/14).
He continued, 2 excavators were
sent to accelerate dredging work. According to plan, the dredging will be
carried out for 400 meters long by 3 to 8 meters width.
Suyadi added, as much as 550 tons
of channel sediment succesfully dredged. “After being dried, it immediately
transport to shelter. We keep accelerating the work to increase its capacity
before rainy season comes
